Most people want some more

Of what I want less of

I've been near and far

I see all that's messed up

Big house, fancy cars

You must have worked real hard

They don't take you half as far

As being pure of heart

Buy some then buy some more

Do you know where it comes from?

Who are you making poor?

When the world functions as one

I have seen enough

You don't need that stuff

Now the jig is up

It's yourself you bluff

I'm doing what I can

To be an honest man

But to live well and do well

Don't always go hand in hand

When will they all wake up?

When the fires reach their door

When the ocean's all choked up

And they can fish no more

I know that change is slow

But this stuff's gotta go

As the world rocks to and fro

Don't act like you don't know

That you've seen enough

The weather's getting rough

The light will wake you up

It's time you call your bluff
